The men and women in trucking make up one of the largest occupations in the country and it is an occupation as diverse as the nation itself. They make up a culture that is far from the stereo type once imagined. Truckers give up a lot to pursue the profession, and while the road is sometimes lonely, the idea of freedom often inspires them.
These photographers have documented the daily life of some long-haul truckers. The images are beautiful, thought provoking and provide a picture that many do not see or appreciate.
